Registration for this session is additional to the congress registration fee and is €99 standard and €110 on site.
Aims : the prevalence of interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) is increased by 10-fold in families of patients diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, suggesting that there is a genetic predisposition to ILDs. This seminar focuses on the genetics of pulmonary fibrosis and is divided into three parts: 1) introduction including epidemiology and genetic background, 2) indications for genetic testing and current care of patients with ILDs associated with an identified germline mutation and 3) discussion of appropriate management for relatives.
