Ethical issues in clinical respiratory research: where to draw the line?

Registration for this session is additional to the congress registration fee and is: €38.5 standard and €44 on site.
Aims : to discuss potential ethical issues associated with translating findings/knowledge from basic science to clinical trials in humans; to conduct group discussions led by expert speakers regarding if and where we should draw the (ethical) line in the advance of science to therapies; to discuss scientific advances and ethical considerations of two new technologies, CRISPR/Cas9-based genome editing and (modified) stem cell therapies.
