Self-management in chronic respiratory diseases

Aims : To provide an overview of the evidence for and the applicability of self-management interventions in patients with respiratory diseases, particularly those with asthma and COPD; to discuss different self-management intervention components, with particular focus on behavioural change techniques, tele-health devices and advance care planning.
