To identify hurdles to the inclusion and acceptance of broader outcome measures in clinical trials; to describe the benefits of standardisation and the roles and requirements of a core facility giving the ECFS CTN as example; to understand potential interactions between the core facility, commercial sponsors, and the trial networks.
