Aims : to contrast effective communication depending on either a scientific audience at a conference or when talking to the general public/patients; to provide participants with hands-on tips to improve on their own communication skills; to explain the contributions of the Early Career Members Committee and how you can get involved; to describe the variety of offers of the ERS fellowship programme and specific calls/deadlines.
