Paediatrics meets ENT and thoracic surgery
Aims : to review the current understanding and literature regarding clinical care of tracheobronchomalacia; to identify the clinical presentations of tracheobronchomalacia; to compare the available treatments and to choose the appropriate investigations and treatments for patients; to present the conclusions of the ERS statement on trachea-bronchomalacia; to emphasise the close collaboration between the paediatrician, ENT surgeon, interventional radiologist, physiologist and thoracic surgeon as well as the need for a multidisciplinary approach; to present take-home ideas for future research.
