Challenging infections in transplant recipients
Clinical
Aims : To describe the diagnosis and management of patients with difficult-to-treat infections before and after lung transplantation; to determine whether challenging infections in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) and non-CF bronchiectasis are contraindications to lung transplantation; and to describe methods of managing fungal, viral and mycobacterial diseases after solid organ transplantation.
