Diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to frail lung cancer patients
Clinical
Aims : To describe the advantages of lung cancer staging in the diagnosis and treatment in fit lung cancer patients and the association of treatment with prognosis; to determine the applicability of staging and biopsy in frail patients and their association with choice of treatment; and to describe optimal methods of treating elderly patients with an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance score of 2 and methods of optimising best supportive care.
