Aims : To evaluate appropriate biopsy methods for the diagnosis of interstitial lung diseases; to describe the risks of and indications for transbronchial cryobiopsy and to compare the safety and efficacy of this method with other biopsy methods (e.g., transbronchial biopsy with conventional forceps and surgical lung biopsy).
