Aims : To enable clinicians to understand the important issues around reference values in lung function and how adopting the relatively new GLI values together with LLN will alter diagnosis of lung disorders in certain patient groups; to outline what are the weaknesses and strengths of GLI reference values; to explore what is the future for GLI reference values.
