Microplastic in the lungs: should we be worried?
Aims : To examine the evidence that microplastics are present in ambient air; to establish the size distribution of ambient microplastics to determine if they are inhalable; to examine the evidence that microplastics are toxicological active; to discuss the human health implication of inhaling microplastics.
