Aims : To update knowledge on ground-glass opacities (GGO): 1) natural history driven guidelines; 2) how does artificial intelligence integrate into decision algorithms compared to biopsy; 3) which are the contemporary surgical techniques; 4) how should we consider alternative ablation methods such as stereotactic radiation therapy, percutaneous or transbronchial thermo-ablative procedures.
