Wednesday special session
How Teams Advance Respiratory Healthcare Delivery
International Respiratory Coalition Session
Aims : This session looks at how the role of teams contribute to the advancement of respiratory healthcare delivery. It will consider the team within multiple contexts as it relates to burnout, , providing multimorbidity care to pulmonary patients, as well as delivering sustainable care, and enacting successful policy change. The talks will be followed by a group discussion exploring the themes and International Respiratory Coalition (IRC) topics. The IRC founded on the idea of multistakeholder collaboration and working in teams is at the heart of the coalition.
The IRC is a movement to transform respiratory outcomes in a post pandemic world. Led by the European Respiratory Society, the IRC is a multisectoral partnership bringing together the professional respiratory community, patients, and industry. The IRC is currently supporting national-level coalitions, who have joined the movement, as they work towards developing/improving/implementing respiratory strategies based on best practice in their own countries.
