Aims : To explore the integration of digital health technologies in the management of childhood asthma, including mobile apps, social robots and tele-monitoring systems, and the potential consequences of these tools for the well-being of children and their relationships with respiratory care professionals; to provide an overview of the existing digital health technologies for the management of childhood asthma; to describe the evidence of the clinical effectiveness of digital health technologies for the management of childhood asthma; to provide insight into the benefits and risks of digital health technologies in children.
